Gamewire.org – Annual Electronic Review Scholarship

Are you enrolled in an accredited college program? Are you passionate about gaming and/or technology?

If you are, your passion could earn you a scholarship!

The Gamewire.org – Annual Electronic Review Scholarship will award at least one $1,000 scholarship to a student who sends us a 1000 word essay reviewing an electronic product (See application process for more details). Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college program during the 2017 – 2018 academic year. The winning entry or entries will be featured on Gamewire.org’s blog. Gamewire.org is an up and coming gaming/technology website dedicated to providing quality reviews and information on everything gaming and tech related.

Who can apply?

Any student enrolled in any accredited college program. If you are under 18, you must have a permission letter from your parent or legal guardian.

Application Process

To apply, please email the following information to info@gamewire.org:

– A 1000 word essay (minimum 1000 words) review explaining everything about the product. You should include details such as describing why it is a product of your choice, performance/quality of the product, and be sure to include specs. This article will be on a electronic product excluding cellphones or cellphone accessories) under the following categories…

– The “subject line” should be titled, “Scholarship submission”

– An electronic copy of your college transcript. Unofficial transcripts are permitted.

– If you are under 18, also attach your permission letter.

 

Selection Criteria

The following criteria will be taken into account when considering all applications:

-Grammatical errors.

-Resource cited page.

-Plagiarism. Any Plagiarism will result in automatic application termination 

-Accurately followed the application process directions.

-How interesting and helpful your electronic article is.

-GPA (must be 3.0 or higher).

 

How the winner is chosen/notified and rewarded

After careful and thorough review of all applications, the winner or winners will be chosen by the owner at Gamewire.org.

The winner will be notified by the email from which they submit the scholarship application.

The scholarship check will be sent directly to the college or university of the recipient.

 

Terms and Conditions

– No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited.

– Gamewire.org WILL NOT give out or use your private information for anything other than this scholarship application submission

– Only one application per student.

– Your article will be checked for plagiarism! Make sure to include your sources at the bottom.

– Employees of Gamewire.org and their immediate relatives are not eligible.

– Gamewire.org reserves the right to verify all information including school enrollment status.

– All taxes are solely the responsibility of the contest winner.

– To enter, you must submit a complete scholarship application via email to info@gamewire.org no later than the deadline listed above. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

– All applications become the property of Gamewire.org and will not be returned. Gamewire.org is not responsible for any lost, late, or unintelligible entries.

– By submitting your essay with your scholarship application, you give Gamewire.org unlimited licensing rights to parts or all of your article. The author will be given credit if their essay is used in any way.
