Razer’s Deathadder Elite gaming mouse is one of the most popular and trending mice these days among circles of pro-gamers who play FPS games like Counter Strike and Battlefield. These intense games require a mouse with near-perfect accuracy and precision. Released in October of 2016 by Razer, the mouse quickly gained widespread acclamation for its perfect and sleek design, its unrivaled optical sensor, and the overall comfort and control that it offers to enthusiast gamers. There is a faint rise in the price of the Deathadder Elite as compared to its predecessor, the Deathadder Chroma; however, it is well worth the price considering the new cutting edge 16,000 CPI (Counts per inch) optical sensor which was developed collaboratively by Pixart and Logitech. The sensor highly contributes to perfect accuracy and precision which is recorded at a stunning 99.4%. Razer claims it to be “the world’s most accurate sensor”, and as of now, it does remain unmatched in the market of gaming mice. The Deathadder is a must-have for every passionate gamer since it has probably won more “best gaming mouse” awards than any other gaming mouse ever built.
Another prominent feature of this mouse is its ideal design and shape. It will surprisingly fit well on most grip and hand sizes. The core material of the mouse is fantastic and does not annoy the user even if his hands get sweaty because of intense and long hours of playing. I have played several FPS games with this mouse for several hundred hours and I didn’t get the slightest feeling of discomfort. There are rubber grip pads on both sides of the mouse that ensure a comforting and firm grip. The mouse has a comparatively large gaming grade scroll wheel and 7 buttons that can be reprogrammed by the user to perform any desired task. Two of these buttons are on the right side, just above the grip pad, making it very easier to approach them without repositioning your thumb. Two buttons are there just beneath the scroll wheel that are used to adjust CPI settings, but can be reprogrammed for any other task.
Razer’s Deathadder Elite is incorporated with highly specialized and gaming-optimized mechanical mouse switches, developed in collaboration with Omron, a leading supplier of mouse switches. The all-new mouse switches are meant to deliver the fastest possible response time and ensure a great durability of up to 50 million clicks.
The only complaints about this mouse that I know of, are regarding the driver software of the mouse known as Synapse. You need to be connected to the internet for the initial 30 seconds of sign up; however, once you are registered, you won’t be required to connect to the internet in order to use your device.
To conclude, I have personally used this mouse for quite a while, and as a devout gamer, I would absolutely recommend this to any gamer that is in search of “a perfect gaming mouse”!
